How do I adopt a pet?
All of our adoptable cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, tested for feline immunodeficiency virus and feline leukemia, and are given monthly flea preventatives. Each cat is micro-chipped prior to adoption. Our adoption fee is $150, and we have a pre-screening process that includes an adoption application and home interview. The application may be filled out online or during our adoption hours at the Centinela Feed and Pet Supplies store in Redondo Beach. To view and complete the adoption application online, CLICK HERE
Are there any adoption requirements?
PURRfect Partners is searching for “Forever Homes” for our cats. You are making a major, lifetime commitment and may have to adjust your life style. Cats need affection and attention, can live for over 20 years and may require expensive medical care during their life. Thousands of cats are killed at animal shelters each year because their guardians did not plan for the future.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Completion of the adoption application does not guarantee adoption. PURRfect Partners requires a home visit. We may decline to adopt based on the application and/or the home visit. We reserve the right to refuse adoption to anyone for any reason. By submitting the application, you agree that all information provided on the adoption application is true and correct. False information will resul t in nullification of the adoption.
Vet Q&A: Are pets for adoption healthy?
We do the best we can to make sure all the animals available for adoption are examined and deemed healthy. All of our adoptable cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, tested for feline immunodeficiency virus and feline leukemia, and are given monthly flea preventatives. There are other considerations outside of what we have considered in care. Healthy cats can and will remain so provided YOU are willing to provide continued care.
