Kylie is a sweet and playful special needs kitten who got a very rough start in life, having been found alone in a parking lot in the rain. Also, she was born with cerebellar hypoplasia. What is CH, you may ask?
Cerebellar hypoplasia is a condition where a kitten’s brain does not finish growing and remains in an immature state due to a viral infection in the mother cat. The infection causes a pause in the unborn kitten’s brain development, specifically to the area called the cerebellum, which is responsible for coordinated movement and balance. It is also known as “wobbly cat” syndrome. It is not contagious and does not worsen over time. It may get somewhat better as the cat learns to navigate her world.
She is a happy, playful girl who has no idea she is different from other cats.
She loves her toys like any other kitty and sometimes is referred to as “the Energizer bunny” for her seemingly endless energy.
As a plus, you will never have to worry about a CH kitty jumping up on the kitchen counters.
Good in a home with:
Dogs, cats, and children (and maybe other animals).
Any significant medical or life history would be found here.
Do you have a question about Kylie?
Hi Future Home!
I’m looking for loving pet owners. A place where I feel safe, fed good food and have plenty of affection and care. I can live up to 20 years. Sometimes things happen and I will need care from a veterinarian. I hope you consider all these things and me!
I look forward to meeting you!
