Meet Pumpkin
Hello everyone, meet Pumpkin! He’s about a year and a half old, fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and potty-trained. Pumpkin is incredibly sweet and affectionate – he warms up to people quickly but he needs a bit of patience to feel completely safe. He absolutely loves warm hugs and melts into your embrace when picked up, crying that feeling of security and love.
Pumpkin comes from a difficult past. His previous owner would scare him often out of the house, and he still carries some of that fear. Sometimes he hides, worried he might be shooed away again. To help him feel safe, I gently pick him up, hold him close and let him rest in my arms, which he truly adores.
Originally, a different rescue team that found him planned to release him back outside, but after seeing his gentle nature and knowing he was once an indoor cat, I offered to take him in until we can find a safe, loving forever home. Pumpkin is simply not equipped to survive on the streets – he needs to be an indoor-only cat.
Pumpkin is a calm cat who loves keeping you company. He’ll sit by your side while you watch TV, snuggle on your lap, or nap in his cozy bed. He has his own comfy indoor cat house with a bed and blanket, and it’s his safe retreat when he’s feeling anxious. If you see him hiding, he just needs a gentle hug to remind him he’s wanted and safe.
