Meet Crookshanks

Born on March 29, 2025, Crookshanks is a beautiful young cat with a deeply affectionate personality and a strong desire to connect with her people. In a previous environment, she was described as shy and somewhat anxious in new situations. However, since being returned to the group, she has shown a truly wonderful side of herself. She has been social, interactive, and quick to seek out attention and affection from people she feels comfortable with.
She enjoys being near her people and often follows them around with curiosity and interest, wanting to be part of whatever is going on. Once she feels secure in her environment, she is very loving, attentive, and people-oriented.
Crookshanks thrives on affection and connection, and she truly blossoms when she has consistency and trust. While she has shown a confident, sweet, and affectionate personality here, like many cats in transition, she may simply need a little time and understanding as she adjusts to a new home and routine.
She has also lived with another cat, Carol, and the two share a close bond, playing, relaxing, and keeping each other company. Because of this, Crookshanks would do wonderfully adopted alongside Carol, though she could also do well with another friendly cat or thrive as a solo companion in a calm, patient home.
Crookshanks is ready for a fresh start with someone who will appreciate her loving nature and give her the stability she needs to continue shining. She is a truly special girl who forms strong bonds and brings a quiet, steady affection once she feels at home.
