A Quiet Survivor Learning to Shine

Annie is a shy, sensitive girl from the hoarding rescue who is under a year old, and she’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She has been through so much in her young life, so she takes a little longer to trust — but for the person willing to give her the time and patience she needs, her love is truly something special.
She absolutely adores head scratches and will lean in, closing her eyes and getting completely lost in the moment, soaking up every bit of affection. It’s one of the most beautiful ways she shows that she feels safe.
Annie finds comfort in quiet spaces where she can nap peacefully, either by herself or snuggled up with her friend Dixie. Recently, she’s been taking very brave steps — coming out more, discovering toys, and even starting to play as she realizes it’s okay to just be a kitten.
Annie will do best in a calm, quiet home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace and grow into the confident, loving cat she’s meant to be.
